Welcome to the SRC Living Legacy Foundation Web Site

The Living Legacy Foundation's mission is to generate resources with which to fund the enrichment of the quality of life within and affiliated with SRC. The main activity of the Living Legacy Foundation is to provide educational grants to SRC employees and their children. In doing so, it gives residents and families a way to express gratitude for on-going care or to commemorate the passing of a relative or friend. The student recipients attend colleges throughout the country and major in a wide variety of subjects. The Living Legacy Foundation is also available to provide assistance to residents in need.

In 2023 we awarded 44 Educational Grants for a total of $102,600 to employees and their children to attend college throughout the United States, with majors from occupational skills to advanced academic degrees. We are only able to provide this level of support through the generosity of our donors.

We believe education is the key to upward mobility in this country and can think of no more worthy cause for your tax-deductible donation.

Annual Fund Raising Campaign
Unlock the Door to Learning

Education Unlocks The Door

It is our pleasure to tell you about the 2024 Annual Fund Raising Campaign for the Living Legacy Foundation. The goal for this year’s campaign is $85,000.

This year’s Campaign events continue our focus on higher education. We have scheduled two programs during the campaign. The first program in 2024 was on May 3 and featured a presentation by Michael Kirst, Professor Emeritus at the Stanford  School of Education, who discussed “Improving K-12 Education: Challenges and New Strategies ”. The recording of this presentation can be viewed here. There will also be a live program at the Koi Pond on Monday 24th June at 3pm with wine and munchies, featuring remarks by previous grantees. This program will also be recorded and available subsequently on the LLF website.

The LLF Board thanks you all in advance for your support of this year’s Campaign and for your continuing commitment to our employees and to education!
